Chinese smartphone giant Vivo has added yet another smartphone to its Y Series by launching the new Y15 in India. The highlights of the Vivo Y15 are the triple camera setup on the back and a huge battery it packs. The phone has been priced at Rs. 13,990 in India.

The Vivo Y15 features a 6.35-inch HD+ Halo FullView display. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P22 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM. There is 64GB onboard storage. The phone runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 9 skin on top. The phone packs a huge 5000 mAh battery, but unfortunately, there is no support for fast charging.

In terms of camera, the Vivo Y15 features a triple camera setup on the back. There is a primary 13MP camera. Along with that, there is an 8MP AI Super Wide-Angle Camera that lets users click 120° super wide angle shots. The primary camera and the wide-angle camera have an aperture of f/2.2. There is also a 2MP camera with f/2.4 aperture for depth sensing. On the front, there is a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling.

In terms of connectivity, the Vivo Y15 offers 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi (Both 2.4Ghz and 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0. There is a micro USB port for charging and data transfer. The phone is available in two colour variants- Aqua Blue, Burgundy Red. It is available for purchase across leading online platforms like Flipkart, Amazon.in, Paytm, Tata Cliq along with all offline partner outlets and Vivo India E-store. There are offline launch offers like EMI at 0% interest with Bajaj Finserve, IDFC Bank, HDBFS,  HDFC Bank, Home Credit, and Pinelabs Credit/Debit cards. Reliance Jio users can avail benefits worth Rs. 4,000 along with 3 TB Data. While on purchases made online, there are an additional Rs. 1000 discount on exchange with any old device and there are options for No Cost EMI for up to 9 Months.
