Chinese smartphone giant Vivo has once again expanded its Y-series of smartphones by introducing the all-new Vivo Y51A in India. The new Vivo Y51A comes with a triple-camera setup on the back and packs a huge battery, along with support for fast-charging.

Vivo Y51A features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ LCD on the front with a waterdrop style notch that houses the selfie camera. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. However, there is a dedicated micro SD slot via which the storage can be expanded up to 1TB.

In terms of camera, the Vivo Y51A comes with a triple camera setup on the back. There is a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture, along which there is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The rear camera offers various modes like portrait, panorama, live photo, slo-mo, timelapse, Super Night Mode, and many more. The Super Night Mode helps to capture great shots at night by reducing noise and bringing out the details. The phone comes with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.

Connectivity options on the phone are pretty standard. There is 4G with VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi, but there is Bluetooth 5.0 and support for dual-band Wi-Fi. The phone packs a big 5000mAh battery that supports up to 18W fast charging. The phone runs Android 11 out of the box with Vivo’s own FunTouch OS 11 skin on top of it.

Vivo Y51A is priced at ₹17,990 for the only 8GB+128GB variant. The phone is available in two attractive color options- Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony. The phone is available for purchase via Vivo India E-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tatacliq, and across all partner retail stores. There are a few offers on purchase of Vivo Y51A including ₹1,000 cashback from HDFC Bank, benefits from Vi, and zero down payment schemes from Bajaj Finserv, Home Credit, IDFC First Bank, HDB Credit, and ICICI Bank.
