Chinese smartphone giant Vivo has launched another smartphone under it’s V-Series. Today, the company launched the all-new Vivo V17 in India. The main highlight of the phone is a quad-camera setup on the back. Vivo V17 also boasts of a 32-megapixel front-facing camera and a Super AMOLED display.
V17 is the latest addition to our flagship V-series which has been phenomenal for Vivo’s success in the Indian market. In terms of specifications, the Vivo V17 features a 6.44FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a punch-hole camera at the upper left corner. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. In terms of camera, the Vivo V17 comes with a quad-camera setup on the back which houses a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, along with an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens.
Apart from these two, there are two other 2-megapixel sensors for macro shots and depth sensing. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera for video calls and selfies. Vivo V17 boasts of the Super Night Mode which reduces noise in low-light shots. The Super Night feature optimizes photos taken using both rear and front camera, powered by frame-merging technology, HDR and Vivo’s own portrait algorithm.
The phone runs Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9.2 on top and the device packs a 4500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz & 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 and USB-C. The Vivo V17 is priced at Rs. 22,990 and the device will go on sale starting December 17, 2019, on Vivo India E-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm mall, Tatacliq & Bajaj Finserv EMI Store and across all partner retail stores. The phone is available in two colour variants- Midnight Ocean and Glacier Ice.
