Chinese smartphone giant Vivo has launched the V17 Pro smartphone in India, which was anticipated for quite some time. The highlight of the phone is the dual pop-up selfie camera. The Vivo V17 Pro is the successor to the V15 Pro which was launched earlier this year. Apart from the dual pop-up selfie camera, Vivo V17 Pro has features like a bezel-less display and 18W fast charging.

The Vivo V17 Pro features a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display having an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a screen-to-body of 91.65%, which is quite impressive for such a mid-range phone. The phone has a glass build and the front, as well as the back,  is covered by Gorilla Glass 6. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. However, there are no storage variants that offer different RAM and ROM combinations, also, the Vivo V17 Pro doesn’t have support for a microSD card.

The main highlight of the phone is the selfie camera, but on the back also there is a quad-camera setup on the back. On the back, there is a primary 48-megapixel primary Sony IMX582 sensor. Along with that, there is a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and 2-megapixel depth sensor for portrait shots. On the front, there is a primary 32-megapixel shooter along with an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. And the front camera module pops up when taking a selfie. The Vivo V17 Pro runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with Vivo’s own FunTouch OS skin on top.

The phone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and packs a 4000mAh battery. Also, there is support for 18W fast charging via the USB-C port. The Vivo V17 Pro comes in two vibrant colours- Glacier Ice and Midnight Ocean. In terms of pricing, the Vivo V17 Pro is priced at Rs. 29,990. The Vivo V17 Pro will go on sale in India via Flipkart, Vivo e-store, and offline stores across the country starting from September 27. It is already available for pre-order.
