LG Electronics India, a leading consumer durable brand, participated in South Asia’s largest HVAC & R exhibition in Mumbai titled ACREX 2019. At the event, LG displayed its flagship HVAC products which have been developed using the finest technologies and breakthrough innovations.
At the ACREX 2019, LG displayed VRF systems, Hydro Kit for hot water generation, Chillers like Magnetic Bearing Centrifugal Chiller, Light commercial systems including Inverted ducted, Inverter cassette & Inverter Floor standing, Inverter split air conditioners and Control systems. Commenting on the occasion, Sunil Khatwani, Business Head – System Air conditioning Division, said, “We are extremely excited to showcase the best of technology at ACREX 2019. This show is a medium for us to not only present the latest innovation from the house of LG but also showcases our commitment towards the HVAC segment. This year we are exhibiting our new, innovative products such as Light commercial systems, Inverter split air conditioners, VRF systems and Chillers which are not only energy efficient, quiet & green, but also have some unique features that will cater to the wide array of requirements of our customers, architects & HVAC consultants.”
The wide range of LG Multi V VRF systems is suitable for most applications. These systems are available in air-cooled and water-cooled outdoor unit options with a very wide variety of indoor units. LG showcased the unique Hydro Kit, which can provide simultaneous heating, cooling, and hot water supply when used in conjunction with LG VRF systems. It can make the water reach a temperature as high as 80° Celsius. The system also has a wide operating range, as cold as -20° C to 53° C.
LG demonstrated the Magnetic Bearing Centrifugal Chillers, which are oil-free and deliver very high energy efficiency at full and part loads while maintaining lower noise and vibration levels, lower footprint, high reliability. LG claims that it will provide consistent performance over time. Each chiller is equipped with a UL rated UPS for the highest protection. These chillers are available in capacities from 260 TR to 2200 TR.
Air conditioners, a lineup for which LG is quite popular were also showcased at the event. LG claims that these inverter ducted high energy efficient air conditioners come with better system reliability as well as convenient benefits such as quick, stable cooling in a wider operation range when compared to conventional fixed speed systems. LG also showcased a product under Light Commercial systems and that is the Inverter Cassette unit, which is a ceiling mounted air conditioner with low height design.
