Two new tablets from Huawei’s subsidiary brand Honor are now out in the Indian market. The Honor MediaPad T3 and T3 10 are the new tablets that are priced at Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 14,999 and are exclusively available via Flipkart.
The Honor Mediapad T3 tablet features an 8-inch IPS display, having a resolution of 1200×800 while the Honor Mediapad T3 10 comes with a bigger, 9.6-inch IPS display. The Mediapad T3 10 tablet display will support 50 percent NTSC color Gamut. Both of these two tablets are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 (MSM8917) clocked at 1.4GHz, coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD slot. However, there is a higher variant of the Mediapad T3 10, that comes with 3 GB RAM and is priced at Rs 16,999 The Honor Mediapad T3 and Mediapad T3 10 runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with Huawei’s EMUI 5.1 skin on top.
In terms of camera department, both the tablets are same as they come with 5 MP rear camera with autofocus and a 2 MP front-facing camera. Both the tablets pack a huge 4,800 mAh battery inside and has connectivity options including 4G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.
Commenting on the launch of the tablets, P. Sanjeev, the Vice President for Consumer Business Group of Huawei, said, “We aim to tap the potential market of consumers who are looking for highly efficient and reliable tablet with a classy and elegant look. The Honor MediaPad T3 and MediaPad T3 10 have been launched to cater to the needs of our target audience.”
On both of the devices, there is a special userspace known as the special kid’s corner, which provides a digital playground that is safe and a fun learning experience for children. Kid’s Corner also lets kids experience their favorite characters, games, and content in a parental-controlled environment, where parents can identify specific subject areas for their child to focus and control the amount of time they use the app.
As we mentioned, the MediaPad T3 is priced at Rs 12,999 and MediaPad T3 10 comes in two variants 2GB and 3GB which are priced at Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively, and there will be sold exclusively via Flipkart.
