Vivo Y1s 3GB Variant Launched In India – Price Starting from Rs 7900

Today, Chinese smartphone giant Vivo has announced the launch of 3GB RAM variant of Vivo Y1s in India. The new 3GB RAM variant of Vivo Y1s is priced at ₹9,490. The Vivo Y1s was earlier launched in India with 2GB RAM & 32GB storage back in November 2020 at a price of ₹7990. The new 3GB variant adds extra RAM, while the storage is still limited to 32GB. In addition, users can pop a microSD card into the phone to expand storage up to 256GB. Like all other Vivo devices, the new 3GB variant of Vivo Y1s is also manufactured at Vivio’s Greater Noida Facility in Uttar Pradesh. 

The Vivo Y1s sports a 6.22-inch HD+ Halo FullView display with a screen-to-body ratio of 88.6% and a waterdrop notch that houses the front-facing camera. Under the hood, there is MediaTek’s Helio P35 (MT6765) SoC, paired with 3GB of RAM. 

In terms of camera, the Vivo Y1s has a single 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, while on the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. In addition, both cameras support various camera modes like beautification, time-lapse, video recording, and more.

The phone runs Android 10 with Vivo’s own FunTouch OS 10.5 skin on top. There’s a big 4030mAh battery that provides enough juice to the phone to last more than a full day. Connectivity options on the phone include 2.4G Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB OTG, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and a micro USB.

The new Vivo Y1s variant is the same as the old one, but with extra RAM and a nominal increase in price. The Vivo Y1s will be available for purchase in two attractive color options— Aurora Blue and Olive Black. It will be sold via Aivo India E-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tatacliq, Bajaj EMI Store, and across all partner retail stores. However, Vivo has no word regarding the exact date on which the phone will go for sale.
