Tecno has expanded its Spark 7 series of smartphones and has launched the all-new Tecno Spart 7T in India. Tecno Spart 7T has a massive 6000mAh battery and a 48-megapixel camera. The company claims that it is the first phone under ₹9000 to pack such a big battery and 48-megapixel camera.

Tecno Spart 7T features a big 6.52-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a tall aspect ratio of 20:9. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G35 octa-core chipset, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. However, users can pop in a microSD card and expand the storage up to 512GB.
In terms of camera, as mentioned earlier, the Tecno Spark 7T sports a 48-megapixel primary camera with an ƒ/1.8 aperture on the back. Along with that, there is another secondary lens. However, the company did not clarify the purpose of the secondary lens. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with dual flash.
The primary camera on Tecno Spark 7T can record time-lapse videos at a speed of 15X to 5400X and slow-mo videos at 120 fps. The rear camera can record videos at up to 2K. There are other features like Short Video, Video Bokeh Mode, and 20 AI Scene Detection. The front-facing camera, with dual-flash, is claimed to improve low-light selfies, and it also has features like Smile Shot to auto-capture photos with smiles, Portrait Mode, AI HDR mode, AR Shot, Wide Selfie, Burst Shot, Beauty Mode, and more.
Tecno Spark has standard connectivity options like dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G with VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, etc. The phone runs Android 11 out of the box with Tecno’s HiOS v7.6 skin on top. HiOS v7.6 brings many useful features like Kids Mode, Voice changer, Anti-Theft Alarm, Peek Proof, Photo Compressor. There are other features like Custom Timing dark theme, App Twin, Chat Bubbles, Game Space, and many more.
The phone packs a massive 6000mAh battery, but there is sadly no mention of fast charging. Tecno Spark 7T is available in three color options- Jewel Blue, Nebula Orange, Magnet Black. Tecno Spart 7T will go on sale starting June 15 at noon, exclusively on Amazon. The phone is priced at ₹8999. However, consumers purchasing the phone on the first day will receive a flat ₹1000 discount bringing the effective price down to ₹7999.
