Realme has launched the all-new Realme X2 in India. Realme X2 is the first phone here that is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G processor. The phone is quite similar to the Realme XT, launched earlier this year and looks like this is the final phone of the year from this young brand.
The Realme X2 features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a huge screen-to-body ratio of 91.5%. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and it comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G SoC, as mentioned earlier, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. In terms of storage, there are two variants and in terms of RAM, there are three variants. The base model has 64GB onboard storage, while the top variant comes with 128GB onboard storage. There three options for RAM- 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. So, clearly, consumers have more choices while buying the device.
In terms of camera, the Realme X2 has a quad-camera setup on the back. There is a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portraits. On the front, the Realme X2 has a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The Realme X2 runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1 skin on top. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone packs a 4,000mAh battery and supports 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge. The phone is available in three colour variants- Pearl Blue, Pearl Green, and Pearl White. Pear Blue and Pearl White are quite typical colours, but the Pearl Green is something new, at least for a Realme phone.
The phone starts at Rs. 16,999 and the price goes up to Rs. 19,999, based on RAM and internal storage. The Realme X2 will go on sale starting December 20 on Flipkart and Realme E-Store.
