As the holiday season is around the corner, Google has introduced yet another opportunity for those who already own a Pixel device and also for those who are planning to buy one. Starting from today, Google Nexus and Pixel users can refer the new Pixel 3 or Pixel 3XL to their friends and family members. Referring provides benefits to both sides as each referrer will receive a Rs 2,000 Flipkart gift voucher, and each referee will get a Rs 7,000 instant discount while they purchase a Pixel 3 or Pixel 3XL irrespective of the variant they choose.
This referral program starts today and codes can be generated until Thursday, 20th December 2018 up to 11:59 PM. However, the generated codes can be redeemed until Monday, 24th December 2018 11:59 PM.
How to avail this offer?
- Anyone having a Flipkart account must log in to their account on the Flipkart app using his Pixel or Nexus smartphone. Once logged in, the Pixel or Nexus user will then see a targeted banner mentioning the Pixel 3 Referral Program.
- Once the user clicks on the banner, he will be redirected to the page providing details about the offer. On this page, the user will enter their email ID to participate in the program and within 48 hours the customer will receive an email from Flipkart which would contain the unique link that they can share or use for themselves.
- Upon sharing the link with friends or family members, the referee with the unique link will land on a Flipkart Page for validating the code and once the code is validated, it will get tagged to referee’s Flipkart account.
- So, during the offer period, when the referee purchases a Pixel 3 or Pixel 3XL on Flipkart, an instant discount of Rs 7,000 will be applied during checkout, over and above other running offers.
- Also, the referrer will receive a gift card from Flipkart worth Rs. 2,000 which they can use while shopping.
