Philips MicroCube (AC5659), Mario (AC3821) & Puma DI (AC3259) Air Purifiers Launched

As a company which not only brings consumer electronics products but also contributes to innovation that leads towards a healthy life, Philips is marking the World Allergy Week by introducing two new ranges of smart and innovative Philips air purifiers. As per the company these two series i.e. Philips 3000i and 5000i, will empower families to take control of indoor air quality, and help reduce the triggers that aggravate a child’s allergy symptoms.

The company talked about how the change in season brings sneezes, coughs and watery eyes, allergy/asthma arrives as indoor air bound allergens mark their presence at large in the atmosphere. According to the INSEARCH report published in 2017, roughly 4-5 % of the total Indian population suffers from chronic airborne diseases and children, who spend some time indoor have the chance to get affected as the indoor quality drops significantly. Expressing his concern, Dr. Arjun Khanna, MD DM, Senior Consultant Pulmonology, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, said, “Cases of asthma and respiratory allergies are on the rise. Poor air quality, pollution and smoking make this disease worse. Asthma is easily controllable in most patients with therapy and avoidance of allergens and pollutants. Let’s purify the air we breathe, and fight the menace of asthma and chronic respiratory diseases.”

To cope up with such issues, new Philips air purifiers have been specifically developed to improve the indoor air quality. The new range includes the 2-in-1 air purifier and humidifier- Mario (AC3821), MicroCube (AC5659) and Puma DI (AC3259). Equipped with VitaShield IPS, AeraSense and NanoCloud technology, these air purifiers are proven to help improve indoor air quality. These new Philips Air purifiers use True HEPA filters and is tested to remove 99.9% of PM2.5, bacteria, H1N1, and 99.97% of 0.3um particles, which are behind allergies and may cause asthma as well. Users can also track the air quality with the help of the companion app, and can get alerts when there is a change in indoor air quality.

Among these new Philips Air Purifiers, Mario (AC3821) is a 2-in-1 device that not just purifies the air but also maintains optimum humidity in the room. It comes with a smart humidity sensor so that the user can take control of the humidity in the room, also there is an auto-stop function to stop over-humidification.

The new Philips air purifiers come with AeraSense technology, that automatically monitors, reacts, and purify indoor airs, as well as provide real-time feedback on pollution levels in the room. These air purifiers also operate on a low noise level, so that users don’t get disturbed when the sleep.

The Philips MicroCube (AC5659) is priced at Rs. 49,995, the Mario (AC3821)-Humidifier cum Purifier comes with a price tag of Rs. 37, 995 and Puma DI (AC3259) is priced at Rs. 9,995. These air purifiers will be available throughout the nation soon.
