Huawei, the world’s third-largest smartphone manufacturer has beaten Xiaomi to secure the top position among the Chinese smartphone makers. Huawei beats Xiaomi, in terms of both shipments and revenue, as per statistics from Sino 2017, Jan-Sep.

Commenting on this great occasion, P. Sanjeev, Vice President Sales, Huawei said, “We are encouraged by the Global success and we are certain to replicate this locally with the exciting gamut of products we have lined up for our consumers, starting with the 7X which has been making waves since its announcement earlier this month.”

Huawei has spent US $10 billion in R&D in the year 2016, accounting for 14.6% of Huawei’s total revenue. Huawei was recently ranked as 8th in terms of R&D spends globally and as the leader in the Telecom Sector.

Both globally and In India, Huawei has introduced a bunch of flagships and mid-range phones, which are customized according to different kinds of users- From the feature-rich Honor 8 Pro to the upcoming Honor 7X, Huawei is also pushing great products to its subsidiary brand Honor, which saw huge success in India with over 98.8% year on year shipment value. The all-new Honor 7X to be launched very soon, for which registrations have already started.

The new Huawei Honor 7X will sport a big 5.93-inch full HD display, with minimum bezels at the top and bottom. It will be powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core processor, clocked at  1.7GHz, coupled with 4GB of RAM. In terms of camera, it will sport a 16MP rear camera sensor and a 2MP depth sensor to provide the bokeh effect and there is also an 8MP front-facing camera. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The Honor 7X runs Android 7.0 Nougat and packs a 3340mAh non-removable battery. Connectivity options will include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, 3G and 4G VoLTE.
