Epson L1455, the first A3 size, high productivity InkTank Printer from Epson launched

Epson, a world leader in digital imaging and printing solutions, has announced the launch of its first A3 size multifunctional InkTank printer, the Epson L1455 in India. The brand has been successful with its InkTank printers. Epson has sold 2 Million InkTank printers in India and 20 Million worldwide and as of now is the No. 1 InkTank brand in India (by Value as per IDC).

The newly launched Epson L1455 is specially designed for corporate use and is engineered for convenience and productivity. As per the brand, the printer is capable of printing larger and clearer documents, spreadsheets, diagrams, and charts and it will bring out maximum detail and clarity at the A3+ size. The printer also supports copying and faxing.

The Epson L1455 doesn’t even need a PC to operate as it comes with a 4.3-inch color touchscreen LCD and has slots for media cards and USB. The printer also comes with connectivity features like Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct and USB 2.0. It enables the user to print directly from the phone through the printer’s wireless connectivity.

The main power of Epson L1455  is the PrecisionCore technology and is capable of printing at a high speed up to 18ipm for A4 & 10ipm for A3 sized documents. It also supports automatic duplex printing up to 8.7ipm for A4, hence reducing paper consumption. It comes with two printing trays, a 35-sheet duplex ADF unit for convenient scanning and copying of double-sided documents, even up to A3 size. It prints black and white documents with high contrast, crystal clear texts and is resistant to water and smudge. It is also capable of printing lab-quality glossy photos on photo media paper at a high-resolution output of 4800dpi. Each set of inks yields 6,000 pages for black and 6,500 pages for color. The printer offers the lowest CPP in the printer market with 12 paise for black and 20 paise for composite color.

The Epson L1455 is priced at Rs. 70,899 and will be available in the market from September 2017. The brand will also provide a warranty of 1 year or 80,000 Pages whichever is earlier.
