The world has changed after COVID-19. Contrary to going to theatres every weekend, people are now spending time at home watching content on platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and more. While gaming was earlier considered a bad habit or very addictive, the world’s views changed as many people found entertaining themselves by playing games. Some of them made money by getting into esports, and esports is getting bigger, better, and crowded with new players and creators stepping in.

To fulfill the requirements of these people who are passionate about either gaming or watching movies and TV shows, LG has introduced the all-new LG OLED48CX TV in India. The OLED TV from LG caters to the needs of both kinds of consumers, emphasizing a lot on viewing experience as well as the gaming experience one would expect from a premium product.

Commenting on the occasion, Hak Hyun Kim- Director- Home Entertainment- LG Electronics India said, “The gaming industry is thriving and the lockdown, occasioned by the economically disruptive coronavirus pandemic, has significantly boosted amount of time people spend playing video games or watching movies at home. With our continued focus on providing the most superlative experience for our customers by providing the latest technology that enhances their lifestyle, we believe this new launch will be a harbinger towards setting new benchmarks in gaming, sports and cinema viewing experience and we are confident our customers will love it.”

LG OLED48CX offers the best of both worlds. LG has confidently claimed that the new 48-inch (121.92cm) OLED is the most diminutive yet most powerful TV that produces even sharper images than larger TVs through 8 million pixels. Powered by LG’s excellence and experience in the OLED industry and with NVIDIA G-SYNC, LG’s OLED48CX offers super responsive gaming with no tearing and stuttering. Combined with the HGiG profile, the perfect black presented by self-lit pixels provides a superior HDR gaming experience.

The new LG OLED 48CX TV also features LG’s Alpha 9 Gen 3 processor for strikingly immersive sound effects through AI Acoustic Tuning. It supports the latest gaming-centric features like higher frame rate, VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), and eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) while meeting HDMI 2.1 specifications. With ALLM, users can experience low latency while gaming as soon as they connect a compatible console. Simultaneously, VRR dynamically matches the TV’s refresh rate to the frame rate being output by a console.

As mentioned earlier, the new LG OLED48CX TV brings the best of both worlds, it comes with individual self-lit pixels, providing rich color and contrast. Besides offering a stunning picture quality, self-lit pixels offer great viewing angles and ensure display latency, motion blur, and ghosting are reduced drastically. The response time it has is too tiny at 1ms. The new Filmmaker mode in LG’s OLED48CX TVs further enhances the cinema viewing experience by correctly adjusting the TV’s settings to show a movie as the filmmaker intended.

The LG OLED48CX TV also features Dolby Vision IQ and Atmos that enhance the overall experience by optimizing Dolby Vision content on the screen according to the room’s brightness. At the same time, the built-in intelligent LG ThinQ with Google Assistant, Alexa built-in, Apple AirPlay 2, and HomeKit allows users to enjoy enhanced entertainment and eliminate pauses during gaming marathons.

The Wireless Sound, powered by two-way Bluetooth connectivity, lets users connect Bluetooth Headset or Sound Bar wirelessly. Users can multitask efficiently on the screen, allowing them to browse the web, access their phones, and more. The all-new LG OLED48CX will be available in LG Shoppe A3 Digitas situated at 594, 80 FT ROAD, 11th Cross Rd, MCECHS Layout, Dr.Shivaram Karanth Nagar, Jakkur, Bengaluru. It is priced at ₹ 1,99,990 in India.
