POCO has announced the launch of its latest smartphone POCO M3. POCO M3 is the third budget smartphone from the brand, and it starts at just ₹10999.

POCO M3 comes with a look different from any other phone in the same price range. There is a huge camera module with prominent branding. On the front, the phone sports a 6.53-inch FullHD+ display with a tall aspect ratio of 19.5:9, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The anti-fingerprint textured back provides a secure and sturdy grip. Poco M3 also features stereo speakers that beam out powerful audio. The phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for easy and fast access.
POCO M3 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 chipset, coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB USF 2.1 or 128GB UFS 2.2 high-speed storage. There is Andreno 610 GPU to enhance the gaming and video experience. POCO M3 comes with a dedicated microSD slot for easy memory expansion without compromising on dual-SIM connectivity.
In terms of optics, the POCO M3 comes with a triple-camera setup on the back. There is a 48-megapixel primary camera along with a 2-megapixel depth and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The phone offers many camera modes like movie frame, time-lapse, night mode, and more. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera for video calls and selfies.
Connectivity options on the POCO M3 are pretty standard, with support for 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB-C. Apart from these, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack as well for connecting audio accessories. There is an IR blaster on the top edge of the phone as well.
The phone packs a massive 6000mAh with support for 18W fast charging, and there is a fast charger supplied in the box itself. Despite the massive battery, the phone weighs just under 200 grams. POCO M3 runs Android 11 out of the box with Xiaomi’s MIUI skin on top.
POCO M3 will be available in three colors: Power Black, Cool Blue, and POCO Yellow. The phone will go on sale on Flipkart starting February 9, 2021, at noon. As mentioned earlier, the phone starts at ₹10999 for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage, whereas the variant with 128GB storage is priced at ₹11999. Customers purchasing the POCO M3 on the first sale through ICICI Bank credit cards and EMI will get an additional ₹1000 off, bringing the effective cost down to ₹9999 and ₹10999.
