Chinese smartphone giant Vivo has expanded its Y Series of smartphones by introducing the all-new Vivo Y20A. The new Vivo Y20A is a budget smartphone, available in two color variants- Nebula Blue and Dawn White.

The Vivo Y20A has a slim profile as the phone is 8.41 mm thick. The phone features a 6.51-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch which houses the front-facing camera. Interestingly the phone’s power button doubles up as a fingerprint scanner which lets the user unlock the phone securely.

The Vivo Y20A is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 439 processor, paired with 3GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. However, there is a dedicated microSD slot via which users can expand storage.

In terms of optics, the Vivo Y20A features a triple camera setup similar to that of the Y20. There is a primary 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Along with that, there is a 2-megapixel macro lens and a depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling.

Vivo Y20A runs Android 11 out-of-the-box, with its own FuntouchOS 11 skin on top. The phone packs a huge 5000mAh battery that supports up to 10W charging. Connectivity options on the phone are pretty standard including 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro-USB port, GPS, etc.

Vivo’s Y20A is manufactured at the company’s production facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh and the phone is priced at ₹11,490. Starting January 2, 201 the Vivo Y20A will be available for purchase from mainline partner retail stores, Vivo India E-store, and other major e-commerce websites like Amazon India and Flipkart.
