Kodak has finally launched it’s Kodak Ektra Smartphone in India. The Kodak Ektra will be available exclusively on Flipkart at INR 19,990 and sale starts from 18th July 2017 at 4:00 PM. Kodak had entered the smartphone market back in 2016 and now looks like they are going to combine the best of their both worlds in their smartphones.

The Kodak Ektra is made for both enthusiasts and professionals. The Kodak Ektra features a 21-megapixel fast focus camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture, and an industry leading 13-megapixel front-facing camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus PDAF and f/2.2 aperture. The custom built camera app is controlled by an intuitive haptic touch and it comes with SLR-style Scene Selection Dial. It has got tons of settings to match the user’s requirement including HDR, Landscape, Portrait, Macro, Sport, Night-time, Panorama and Bokeh, alongside a Smart Auto mode which auto-selects the best conditions for your photographs. Exposure, ISO, focus, white balance and shutter speed can be adjusted in full manual mode.

The Kodak Ektra blends high-quality low light and night-time photography, which is achieved using ARCSOFT Night Shot technology combined with a Kodak certified lens coating, which enables more amount of light to reach the sensor and also helps in reducing ISO noise, brightening underexposed areas and stabilizing blur from slow shutter speeds.

The Kodak Ektra is powered by an HELIO X20 Decacore processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The phone comes with Snapseed pre-installed,  which is arguably the best photo editing app on Android.
