SPPL Unveils Kodak 55-inch 4K UHD Smart TV in India

India’s leading manufacturer of TVs and electronics, Super Plastronics Pvt. Ltd. (SPPL) which is licensed by Kodak, announced the launch of its Kodak 55 inch UHD Smart TV in India. The Smart TV is priced at Rs. 43,990 and packs impressive features.

The 55-inch Ultra HD Smart TV comes with a resolution of ­­­­­­­­­3840 x 2160 pixels with a display size of 139 cm. It is powered by a Dual Core 1.4GHz processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB onboard storage. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and comes with connectivity options like Wi-Fi, LAN connectivity and supports Screencast.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Avneet Singh Marwah, Director, SPPL said, “Witnessing the success of our initial product line in the Indian market, we are proud to add this UHD TV to the lineup. By manufacturing the 55″4K UHD SMART TV, we aim to offer affordable products which are equipped with the latest technology to our customers.”

As mentioned earlier, the Kodak 55 inch Smart TV is priced at Rs. 43,990 and it will be available exclusively at Flipkart, the sale starts later this month.

SPPL is a pretty old company established back in the 90s’ and started with the initial business of plastic injection molding which slowly turned into to the manufacturing of CRT TV’s and to LED TV’s till date. SPPL has been licensed by Kodak to manufacture and sell Smart TVs in India.

  1. Best Kitkat version. Picture quality superb. SD channel looks like HD. No issue at all. Smooth connection with Wi-Fi and LAN Connectivity. The sound quality is good. I think in this price range it is a good choice. Go for it
