Chinese smartphone giant Vivo has expanded its Y-Series again by launching the all-new Vivo Y51 in India. The phone packs a large battery with fast charging, along with a triple camera setup on the back.

The Vivo Y51 features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ Halo FullView display on the front. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. However, the storage can be expanded up to 1TB using the dedicated microSD slot.
In terms of optics, the phone has a triple camera setup on the back. There is a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens for capturing subjects as close as 4 cm. The camera app offers various shooting modes for different scenarios like slow-mo video, super night mode, live photo, AI 48-MP mode, and more. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
Vivo Y51 runs Android 11 out of the box with Vivo’s proprietary FuntouchOS 11 skin on top. The phone packs a big 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. As per the brand, the phone with a single full charge can provide up to 14.3 hours of online HD movie streaming or 7.26 hours of resource-intensive games. The phone also supports reverse charging, so that the Vivo Y51 can be used to charge other devices as well.
In terms of connectivity, the phone offers all the standard connectivity options like 4G with VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C. Vivo Y51 is priced at ₹17990 and is available in two color variants- Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony. The phone will be available for purchase starting today itself on leading e-commerce platforms like Flipkart, Amazon, and Vivo India e-store. Launch offers include financing options from Home Credit, Bajaj Finance, IDFC First Bank, HDB Financial Services, and Zest Finance.
Today, Vivo has also announced a new variant of the Y30 with a RAM upgrade. Now, users will be able to purchase this new variant of Vivo Y30 with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. This new variant of Vivo Y30 is priced at ₹14990.
