HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, today announced insurance offerings and extended warranty support for its range of Nokia smartphones. To provide better protection and extended warranty, the premier smartphone brand has partnered with Servify. The insurance plans start at just Rs. 399 and every single customer buying any Nokia smartphone can avail the benefits.
Commenting on this step, and partnership with Servify, Ajey Mehta, Vice President and Country Head, HMD Global, India said, “We carry our phones everywhere and it’s difficult to be without them. Nokia phones stand for reliability and trust and we are taking this promise even further by partnering with Servify to offer affordable and comprehensive insurance and extended warranty plans. Customers can avail three kinds of plans with 12-month cover provided by Servify. There is the Insurance plan with accident and liquid damage protection plan, Nokia phones screen protection plan and there is also a plan for an extended warranty. The first two plans providing accident and liquid damage cover can be availed with 15 days from the date of purchase, whereas the extended warranty can be availed anytime between the date of purchase to a period of 365 days.
