Sony has launched the new Extra Bass wireless speaker- The SRS-XB01. It is an extension of the highly acclaimed Extra Bass Series. The pocket-sized Sony Extra Bass SRS-XB01 offers powerful sound with heavy bass on-the-go and is designed to provide superior quality for an ultimate party experience for people who enjoy dance music and partying.
Like every other Extra Bass speakers, the Sony Extra Bass SRS-XB01 creates deeper and richer bass with high sound pressure which additionally enhances the user’s favourite tunes. Its compact, rounded design, full range speaker unit on the front and passive radiator on the rear, yields into a deep and punchy sound, without making users worry about the size. As per the company, the speaker is capable of delivering excellent sound despite having the small size compared to many speakers out in the market.
The Sony Extra Bass SRS-XB01 has a water-resistant design with an IPX5 rating, which means that sprays and spills won’t do any harm to the speaker and hence, it is a perfect accessory for those who like to party indoor and outdoor. Also, with an 800mAh battery that is rated to deliver six hours of music playback and Sony claims that the speaker has been designed especially for EDM genre of music which helps to create a party-like environment anywhere. The SRS-XB01 weights similar to that of a modern-day smartphone, and is compact enough to be carried anywhere. Weighing at just 160 grams, the speaker comes with a handy strap, matched with the colour of the speaker’s body.
In terms of connectivity, the Sony Extra Bass SRS-XB01 comes with Bluetooth 4.2 and also, there is a built-in microphone for hands-free calling. It also features playback through the audio input. There are buttons onboard to control the music and volume. The all-new SRS-XB01 will be available across all Sony Centers and major electronic stores in India and also on Flipkart. There will be six colour options available to choose from- Blue, Red, White, Black, Green, Yellow.
