Chinese smartphone giant Vivo has launched the new Vivo V9 Pro in India. it is the latest addition to the highly successful Vivo V Series from the brand and the Vivo V9 Pro has been priced very aggressively at Rs. 17,990. Continuing on Vivo India’s ‘Make in India’ commitment, the V9Pro has been manufactured at Vivo’s Greater Noida facility.

Commenting on the launch, Jerome Chen, CMO, Vivo India said, “Innovation and enhancing customer experience have always been at the forefront of Vivo’s strategy and we are constantly striving to bring the best of smartphones to our discerning consumers. With the Vivo V9Pro, we hope to provide an all-round, immersive smartphone experience backed by powerful performance, while offering affordability and reliability.”

The Vivo V9 Pro features a 6.3-inch full HD+ FullView™ Display with 90% screen-to-body ratio with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. There are very thin side bezels, as thin as 1.75mm due to which the phone provides an immersive experience while viewing videos and playing games. The Vivo V9Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 660 AIE processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage.

In terms of the camera on the phone, the V9 Pro has a dual camera setup on the back with a 13 MP and a 2 MP lens, with LED flash. And on the front, there is a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The camera on the Vivo V9 Pro has many features like Ultra HD recording capability, DOC, Professional, Slow, Time-Lapse photography, Camera Filter, Live, Bokeh, HDR,Face Beauty,Panorama, Palm capture, Gender detection, Flash and AR Stickers.

The phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Vivo’s own Funtouch OS 4.0 skin on top, which brings features like Game mode and Bike mode for uninterrupted and safe phone usage. The phone packs a 3260mAh non-removable battery. In terms of connectivity, the phone features USB2.0, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS.

The Vivo V9 Pro will be available in black color and will be available exclusively on Amazon India and Vivo E-Store during Amazon India’s Great India Festival and later will be available at select offline stores.
