HP Inc. India has introduced a new mini desktop to help students across India to learn, collaborate and enjoy the learning experience. The all-new HP 260 G3 desktop mini is priced below even Rs. 20,000 and aims to encourage the use of technology in learning. As per HP, the affordability of these desktops will help institutes to set up or upgrade the computers in their labs at a minimal cost.

Commenting on the launch of the new mini desktop from HP, Sumeer Chandra, Managing Director, HP India said, “As technology becomes integral to businesses and consumers’ daily lives, students need to learn digital skills that equip them well for the future. Driven by our goal to empower students, HP has launched the mini desktop solution to enable easy and affordable digital learning for students across India.” Vickram Bedi, Senior Director, Personal Systems, HP Inc. India said, “We are hitting a new price band with the HP 260 G3 desktop mini. With this, HP will be able to address the market’s need for cost-effective desktop PCs. We are reaching out to schools and educational institutions in metro cities as well as those in smaller cities, where affordable digital learning devices can be highly useful.’’

The new HP 260 G3 is compact but powerful Intel integrated graphics. When paired with the HP Integrated Work Center and HP EliteDisplay, teachers can read and present files effortlessly. It is also very easy to carry it around. In terms of specifications, the HP 260 G3 Mini Desktop runs Windows 10 Pro out of the box.

The PC is powered by 7th gen Intel Core processor, and there is provision for upgrading RAM up to 32GB. In terms of pricing, the variant with Pentium Dual Core with an 18.5-inch monitor is available at a starting price of Rs. 19990 and the higher variant with Intel Core i3 with an 18.5-inch monitor are available at a starting price of INR 25990. HP will provide 1-year onsite warranty for the Mini Desktop as well.
