Vivo had launched the Vivo V9 two months ago and recently, another variant of the phone, the Vivo V9 Youth, aimed to the young and dynamic consumers out there in India. Today, Vivo has launched the Vivo V9 In Sapphire Blue in India, priced at Rs. 22,990. The Vivo V9 Sapphire Blue will be available across all offline stores from 18 May and will also be available online on Amazon India and Vivo E-store from April 21.

Commenting on the launch of the Vivo V9 Sapphire Blue, Kenny Zeng, Chief Marketing Officer, Vivo India, said, “The new Vivo V9 Sapphire Blue is a perfect combination of premium design and impeccable performance. The new variant presents our consumers with a smartphone that not only matches-up to their daily usage demands, but also their style quotient.”

The Vivo V9 Sapphire Blue is basically same as the regular Vivo V9, with a 6.3-inch 19:9 FHD+ display, packed into a body that is not huge at all, with an impressive 90% screen-to-body ratio. Even the hardware inside and camera modules are same and there are no compromises made to craft this phone. The Vivo V9 Sapphire Blue is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor, with Adreno 506 GPU, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB using a MicroSD card. In terms of optics, there is a 24MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, which also supports facial recognition. It also has features like AI Face Beauty mode and AR stickers.

In terms of optics, the phone has a dual camera setup, which consists of a 16MP and a 5MP sensor, with an aperture of f/2.0. While on the front, there is a 24MP selfie camera. In terms of software, the Vivo V9 Sapphire Blue runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Funtouch OS 4.0 on top. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB with USB OTG. The phone packs a 3,260mAh battery.
