Vivo, the Chinese smartphone giant has today launched the Vivo Y53i smartphone in India. The Vivo Y53i is a budget smartphone, packed with features like Face Access and Ultra HD Technology for capturing detailed and high-resolution photos. The Vivo Y53i is priced at Rs. 7,990.

Commenting on the launch, Kenny Zeng, CMO, Vivo India said, “Vivo is continuously striving to introduce cutting-edge products at an affordable price point for its consumers. With the introduction of Y53i, we are strengthening our budget smartphone portfolio by delivering an outstanding camera and user experience at a competitive price point.”

The Vivo Y53i is equipped with an 8MP rear camera which can capture high-quality pictures and videos. The devices come with a feature that lets it shoot several consecutive images and combines them to render a clear and detailed photo having the resolution of up to 32MP. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB storage onboard the phone, which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.

The Vivo Y53i also comes with Face Access feature, which intelligently scans the facial features of the users and unlocks the device instantly. Other than that, the phone comes with features like Smart Eye Protection, App Clone and more.

The phone packs a 2500mAh battery and two color variants – Crown Gold and Matte Black.
