A new OnePlus 5T is here, not just a new one, but one that will blow the minds of many Star Wars fans. The all-new, rumored, OnePlus 5T in its full glory is here, with a taste of Star Wars as OnePlus just officially launched the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition on its third anniversary around the globe just before the release of the new chapter of the popular space saga, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, releasing on December 15.
For the design of the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition, OnePlus has taken inspiration from the planet Crait from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The metal back of the device is painted in Crait white with a precise Star Wars logo in Red printed on the back. The red alert slider is inspired by the red sediment, found under the surface of Crait. There are customizations in the OS as well. There is an exclusive, customized red, white and black theme with a set of 10 exclusive Star Wars wallpapers which look great on the huge bezel-less AMOLED display. That’s not all, a special Kylo Ren phone case along with a special surprise for Star Wars fans are inside the box of this OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition.

In terms of specifications and hardware, the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition sports the dual-camera module on the back with 16 MP and 20 MP cameras, sporting f/1.7 aperture on both lenses for better low light photography. It has a huge 6-inch full HD AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and minimum bezels to provide an immersive experience. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 835 processor, coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
In terms of pricing as well, OnePlus has played it cards right by keeping the price at Rs. 38,999, with 8GB RAM and 128GB Storage, and no other variants. The sales will start from December 15, 2017, Amazon India as well as on its brand store oneplusstore.in. Customers can also experience and purchase the device across OnePlus Experience stores in Bangalore and Mall of India Noida. OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition will also be available in Europe, but in selected countries including Finland, Sweden and Denmark.

A selected number of users will be able to experience and purchase the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition at the Pop-up stores across 6 cities in India over 2 days- 16th and 17th December, 2017 on a first cum first serve basis: Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore and Kochi. Users in Kolkata, Hyderabad and Kochi can experience the device at the pop-up stores in these 3 cities.
