Sony’s Xperia XZ1, the latest flagship smartphone from the company has been launched in India after it was unveiled at IFA 2017. The Sony Xperia XZ1 runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. But the biggest marketed features of the Sony Xperia XZ1 is its 3D scanning camera.

The latest flagship from Sony, the Xperia XZ1 comes with a MotionEye 19-megapixel Exmor RS sensor camera with 3D scanning abilities, which is the most highlighted feature of this phone. 5-axis stabilization has also been provided for the rear camera, which results in steady shots. Also, another good news for Sony fans and Slow-Mo fans is that the Sony Xperia XZ1 is capable of shooting slow-motion video recording at 960fps, just like the Xperia XZ Premium. Needless to even mention the fact that this phone supports 4K recording. On the front, Sony Xperia XZ1 features a 13-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and 22mm wide-angle lens for group selfies. It is also powered by Sony’s Exmor RS mobile imaging sensor.

There are also some other cool features like AutoFocus Burst, Smile Predictive Capture.

In terms of performance, there shouldn’t be any hiccups or lags as the Sony Xperia XZ1 is powered by the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. In terms of display, it mat is not the most impressive as it doesn’t have a huge 5.5-inch or biggest display like most flagships, instead, it packs a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) HDR display powered by Sony’s Triluminos display and X-Reality technology. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone comes with 64GB of storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. The connectivity options in the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, USB Type-C, and GPS among others. The Sony Xperia XZ1 packs a 2700mAh battery, which seems to be a bit but it supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The Xperia XZ1 is also IP68 certified so that it is water and dust resistant.

The Sony Xperia XZ1 is priced at Rs. 44,990 in India and is available via offline and online stores. The company has made the smartphone available in its Black color variant. The smartphone will be bundled with a Quick Charger 3.0 UCH1.2, and other launch offers include a Rs. 1,000 discount on the Rs. 3,490 Style Stand Cover; 5 percent cash back on HDFC and ICICI cards, as well as zero percent EMI offers.
