Gionee has launched another A1, called the Gionee A1 Lite in India. The main highlights of the phone are the selfie camera and a huge 4000mAh battery. The Gionee A1 Lite will be available via retails stores from August 10 and will be priced at Rs. 14,999.
It’s big brothers, the Gionee A1 and Gionee A1 Plus were first unveiled at MWC 2017. However, the Gionee A1 Lite is the most affordable among the three smartphones from A1 Series. Gionee A1 Lite comes with a single rear camera setup with the fingerprint scanner right below it. The phone is available in Black and Gold color variants.
The Gionee A1 Lite runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, with Gionee’s Amigo UI 4.0 on top. The phone features a 5.3-inch 720p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone is powered by MediaTek MT6753V octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, coupled with Mali T-720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. There is 32GB on storage onboard which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD slot.
In terms of camera, the Gionee A1 Lite has a 13-megapixel rear sensor with LED flash and a 20-megapixel front camera with soft LED flash. The smartphone packs a huge 4000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and USB OTG.
