HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, today announced the new Nokia 105, which is a refreshed variant of the original Nokia 105, which sold well over 200 million around the world. The refreshed Nokia 105 comes with a new sculpted design, outstanding battery life, and improved usability with larger screen size.

The Nokia 105 is compact and fits perfectly in your palm. The phone features inherent color throughout its polycarbonate casing, which minimizes the visual impact of knocks and bumps. The new island key mat features separated keys for improved usability, and the larger 1.8-inch screen delivers a better viewing experience when playing favorite games, like Snake Xenzia, which comes preloaded.

The Nokia 105 comes with up to 15.7 hours of talk time and long standby time of a month, and also has enough storage space for up to 500 text messages and up to 2,000 contacts. One of the fundamental hardware remains the same like classic Nokia phones- The LED torchlight.

Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global said,“We understand that people who are looking for great feature phones are motivated by different needs. But when it comes to phone features the needs are the same; long battery life, robust build quality, and high-quality voice functionality,” He also added, “Add to that classic, timeless looks and you have what is simply great phone – the Nokia 105.” Arto Nummela, CEO, HMD Global also added, “With more than 4 billion people remaining offline[iv] and unable to benefit from the social and economic development opportunities of the internet, simply getting connected by voice and text is still such an important step for many people around the world. More than 400 million feature phones were sold globally in 2016[v]. We cannot underestimate the need and benefit of being connected and we are dedicated to delivering devices that can expand the horizon.”

The Nokia 105 is available in both single SIM and dual SIM variants.  The single SIM variant Nokia 105 will be priced at Rs. 999 and the dual SIM variant will cost Rs. 1149. The Nokia 105 will be available in blue, white and black – each color with a matte finish.
