Acer is finally back in smartphone market. After making a good name in laptops, Acer has jumped into the bandwagon of selling smartphones now. Talking of launched device, it’s Liquid Z630s with 3GB of RAM, 4000mAh battery and 1.3 Ghz 64-bit Octa Core Processor (MT6753). With 32 GB inbuilt memory and 5.5inch HD IPS display with Zero-Air gap, this phone is surely a good value for money device. Also, it’s a phone for selfie lovers, saying so it has 8MP camera at front and back both and supports dual SIM (LTE + LTE).
My Personal Experience with Acer Z630s
First impressions of this device are good. When i got my hands on with this device, few things i found were impressive. Like there was a new customized Camera app which clicks pictures upon saying “Selfie” or “Cheese“. You can switch camera modes just by saying ‘HDR‘ or ‘Bright Light‘. It’s front camera is capable of taking 84 degrees wide angle selfies and is helpful while taking a selfie in a group.
It also support kind of what iPhone is advertising Live Photos. You can take live pictures in camera which would exactly be 10 seconds of small video with picture and sound.
Another impressive stuff is it’s battery which is of 4000 mAh. I am sure this battery is capable of running the phone for 2 days minimum. Also 3 GB RAM is a plus point here.
Also internal memory of this phone is 32 GB, which kind of sounds great and is useful in so many scenarios. I have not seen any other phone offering 32 GB of memory in this price range till now.
Another notable thing is Acer Float Caller which made me remind of Floating apps which are yet now available in Samsung and LG flagship phones only.
