So, above table demonstrate the major features and technical specifications difference between all these diesel SUV’s & Maruti Suzuki MUV model. If you observe this comparison closely, there is a good difference of 12 PS between Scorpio and Duster, however Safari has 140PS power which is greater among all models. But still having Ertiga or Duster is still a better option in terms of Mileage and even Ertiga phase out both models (Scorpio & Safari) when it comes to mileage and just in case if you prefer having a MUV too.

Talking of internal space, its pretty obvious that Safari beats in size, however other models are no less. Ertiga has a better wheelbase than Scorpio & Duster but Duster & Safari has got same Ground clearance. In terms of Engine displacement, Scorpio had a clear win-win situation over Ertiga & Duster.

Final Verdict

If you think, why i have included Ertiga in comparison with SUV’s, that’s because Ertiga is the only best car which is no less than its nearly priced range SUV’s. Ertiga is also 7 seater car like others other than Duster which is a 5 seater SUV. If the power of a SUV matter’s to you, i would still recommend Scorpio over Duster and if not, Ertiga is a very good choice.

Good comparison. Old school safari and Scorpio has a lot to learn from duster and ertiga on fuel effeciency and using smaller engines and still being able to delivery higher power
